The Craniofacial Oral-Biology Student Training in Academic Research(COSTAR) is a program which supports advanced research training in Craniofacial Oral-Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. The COSTAR mission is to train a cadre of highly skilled, interactive scientists who can successfully address the expanding opportunities in dental, oral and craniofacial research. The program provides a broad interdisciplinary research experience for exceptionally motivated trainees in a research-intensive academic Health Science Center environment.

The COSTAR offers training tracks for all levels of professional, graduate and post-professional education. These are:

DDS/Ph.D. Program
Ph.D. Program
Post-doctoral Fellowship Program
