Dean's Leadership Council
The Dean’s Leadership Council is comprised of alumni and friends who make annual gifts to the Dental School of $1,000 or more. These individuals and companies are members at the Scholar Level. Dean’s Leadership Council gifts can be designated for the Dean’s Critical Needs Fund, Faculty & Program Endowments or Scholarships, among others. In an effort to encourage our younger graduates to give back, the Competency Level was created. Alumni can become members at this level if they give a minimum of $100 for every year since their graduation, up to $1,000. For example, if a dentist graduated in 2005 and gave at least $300 during the 2007-2008 school year, he or she would become a Competency Level member of the Council. The Dean’s Leadership Council was started in 2002 with 41 members. Today, there are over 100 members and it is growing every year. As a member, your gift has a direct impact on the lives of many of the students, faculty, staff and patients here at the Dental School, and you help make lives better for everyone.
