Save the Date – The Class of 2016 “Welcome to the Profession” ceremony on the afternoon of July 8, 2012. The event will take place on the UTHSCSA campus. More information will be available online in April.

Immunization Information:
- Effective with the spring 2012 registration, student immunizations must be complete before registration.
- University policy mandates full immunization prior to registration. Updated Immunization information/policy is provided in the catalogue under General Requirements and is/will be distributed to all new students.
Effective with the Summer 2012 term and/or sessions subsequent to the Spring 2012 term/session, there will be no exceptions for any HEP B incompletes. Any new/returning/current student requiring the HEP B immunization should request the expedited vaccination, which takes 31 days if the standard series cannot be completed prior to the next immediate registration.

Criminal Background Check:
A background check is required for all University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio students. Further information will be forthcoming in April.
