Student Research Group

The SRG helps make students aware of research opportunities, honors program requirements, and chances to participate in scientific meetings. Our school has a long history of strong student participation in national organizations and scientific research meetings such as the annual American Association of Dental Research (AADR) meeting. At UTHSCSA Dental School approximately one-third of each entering class becomes involved in summer research projects. Students have presented abstracts at local, state, national and international meetings.
