May 18, 2022
The 2022 American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS) William H. Bell Award for Predoctoral Achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was presented to third-year dental student, Kathryn Ellis.
Ellis was recognized for her high level of academic and clinical achievement related to oral and maxillofacial surgery. She will receive a certificate and is invited to attend and be recognized at the ACOMS Annual Scientific Conference and Exhibition.
The award is given in tribute to William H. Bell, whose research “developed the biological basis and clinical rationale for orthognathic surgery.” ACOMS invites deans from accredited dental schools in the United States to select the best and the brightest to receive the award.
Congratulations to Kathryn Ellis on this much-deserved award!
